Childrens Play Areas

The Town Council provides and maintains three Childrens Play Areas within West Bedlington at Meadowdale, 20 Acre Playing Field (Church Lane) and Westlea. 

Westlea and 20 Acre Play Areas are unlocked and available for use at all times.

Meadowdale Play Area has locked gates ( at the request of residents) to prevent unwanted vandalism and anti social behavior.

The gates are open from 8.00am to 6.00pm during the summer months and daylight hours during the winter months.

If you find the gates locked at a time it should be open or you are unsure as to when the play area will next open please contact us for further information.

All of our Childrens Play Areas undergo a weekly safety inspection with repairs and replacements undertaken as soon as possible - if you find the equipment in an unsafe state or you observe a part in need of repair / replacement please do let us know without delay contact us.
